At the end of last year, we were heavily engaged in the community and working with school programs to get the word out about the resources we provide for our kiddos. Additionally, we were involved in some workshops and training that can aid us in better understanding how we can support and be there for our kiddos! 

 

This month, we continue to focus on getting the word to our community that the Sunrise Center is open and available for our kiddos with our Peer Support Groups on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. You will see us visiting the schools within our districts and other locations passing out our information and providing support and education towards our current programs and those that we are in the process of developing, and working on continual training and education that benefits our kiddos.

We are also diligently working towards new fundraising events for this coming year, so stay posted to see what new and exciting events we will have in store for you! As always, we thank you for your support and commitment to our kiddos!

This month at the Sunrise Center:  We worked on our "Healing Hearts" craft for Valentine's day and the kids loved the activity. We continue to work with our kiddos through the grieving process to help them develop a better understanding of their healing and offer coping tools to aid in their support.
