Save the date!

Organized by the Mourning Sun Children's Foundation, the Ryan Cambridge Memorial Golf Classic holds a profound significance in our community as we honor the memory of Ryan Cambridge, a beloved individual whose passion for education and community service left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Ryan Cambridge's life was tragically cut short due to a work-related injury. Still, his legacy lives on through the mission we carry forward. Ryan believed fervently in the power of education and the importance of providing opportunities for young individuals to develop through vocational programs. The primary objective of the Ryan Cambridge Memorial Golf Classic is to raise funds for the Ryan Cambridge Memorial Grant, an initiative established in his honor.

This grant, administered by our foundation, is a vital resource for our local high schools and community colleges, supporting their vocational programs. Each year, the proceeds from our annual golf tournament contribute directly to funding the Ryan Cambridge Memorial Grant. This grant, renewable over four years, offers a substantial amount of $5,000 per year to deserving vocational programs. By supporting our event, sponsors and participants play an instrumental role in enabling local high schools or community colleges to expand their vocational programs and empower students who may not be pursuing traditional four-year college paths.

How you can SUPPORT THE FOUNDATION

VOLUNTEER

DONATE

We are always on the lookout for dedicated volunteers. Our volunteers are extensively trained to facilitate each of our groups, support our mission and most importantly, make our families feel welcome and "at home". Volunteer training for those that would like to join our cause and help the kids with their grief are held on a regular basis.

There are many ways you can help resource our programs. For as little as $10/month or $120/year you can become a Friend of the Foundation. Corporate Sponsorships are available, and one-time donations are always welcome as well.
